Effective January 1, 2006 Bayer Innovation GmbH took over the new growth opportunity "Plant made Pharmaceuticals". It is our aim to become a leading provider of plant produced proteins for therapeutic and non-therapeutic use.

Bayer's proprietary magnICON®technology platform provides a highly effective process covering all key advantages in modern protein expression technology (efficacy, speed, versatility, scalability, contained cultivation and modular system based on agrobacterium delivery scheme.
Based on vast in-house experience, we will pursue business opportunities for application in areas such as pharmaceuticals, vaccines and high value industrial enzymes, as well as tailored business solutions, including licenses for various aspects of our technology and technology kits.
