Biometric characteristics allow an unambiguous correlation to be made between the ID card and the ID card holder.

Equipment for the collection and comparison of biometric characteristics completes the PhenoStor System. User-defined authentication systems can be attached: iris recognition, fingerprint sensors, face recognition, etc.
